
Thai Basilicious Rice

100g Aftermeats (dehydrated)

6 cups cooked jasmine rice

2 cups thai basil leaves
-
14 oz pan-fried tofu cubes

2 small onions (sliced)

6 garlic cloves (minced)

4 thai chillies (chopped)
For Sauce:
-
4 tbsp vegan oyster sauce
-
2 tbsp vegan fish sauce
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp dark soy sauce
-
1 tsp sugar
Preparation
Rehydrate the 100g dehydrated Aftermeats according to package instructions.

In a small bowl, mix together the vegan oyster sauce, vegan fish sauce, soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves. Set aside.

Heat a wok or large pan over medium-high heat. Add a splash of oil, then sauté the sliced onions, minced garlic, and chopped Thai chillies until fragrant and onions are translucent.

Add the rehydrated Aftermeats and pan-fried tofu cubes to the pan. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until heated through and lightly browned.
​
Add the cooked jasmine rice to the pan. Mix well to combine with the other ingredients.
​
Pour the prepared sauce over the rice mixture. Stir-fry continuously to evenly coat the rice and ingredients with the sauce.
​
Stir in the Thai basil leaves and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
​
Remove from heat and serve hot.
