Our Vegan Chilli Con Carne is packed with protein and flavor, this recipe features all the savory goodness of traditional Chilli Con Carne without any of the meat.

Serving for 4:

  • 200g Aftermeats Minced

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped

  • 1 tbsp chilli powder

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

  • 1/2 tsp oregano

  • 1 can (400g) chopped tomatoes

  • 1 can (400g) kidney beans, drained and rinsed

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)



  1. Prepare Aftermeats Minced according to package instructions and set aside. 

  2. In a large saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.

  3. Add the red bell pepper, chilli powder, cumin powder, smoked paprika, and oregano. Stir to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  4. Add the chopped tomatoes, kidney beans, and Aftermeats Minced to the saucepan, and stir to combine.

  5. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  6. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

  7. Serve the Chilli Con Carne in bowls and sprinkle with fresh cilantro, if desired.
